Description
A great horned owl, who is a permanently injured resident of Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park, drowses on a branch of a tree in his habitat. The Wildlife Park does rehabilitation of injured animals and birds. Those with permanent injuries are housed at the park, or are sent to other zoos.

Gorgeous shot! Great color and detail. We go to the same park in Homosassa. I love the park and frequent it a great deal trying to get the otter shots.

Thanks for the lovely comment! The otters are a challenge. I have some shots of them that are a little better than just OK, but most are blurred. They rarely slow down or stop moving. Good luck.
